Project sheet<\/h2>

\u201cSwim to Live 5\u201d is a 2-year Erasmus Plus small-scale project in the field of sport funded by the European Education and Culture Executive Agency. The project is coordinated by \u0160D RIBA<\/a> (Slovenia) and the other partners are Euphoria Net (Italy), Swimming Club Asterias<\/a> (Greece), Asociatia Clubul Sportiv Kory Francisc<\/a> (Romania).<\/p>

PROJECT OBJETIVES<\/b><\/p>

The project aims to help adolescents with ADHD (18- 25 years old) by using swimming, mindfulness and time structuring to control their symptoms and increase their functioning, self-worth, and well-being. At the same time, the project aims to increase the knowledge and skills of sports instructors, coaches and teachers, sports organizations, etc. on how to help understand and regulate ADHD through sports exercise and other activities and tools, such as mindfulness and time structuring.<\/p>

AVAILABLE RESULTS
<\/strong>
As part of the project, we developed:
<\/span>\u2013 A <\/span>Pilot Programme<\/b>: a 24-week lesson programme including various activities, methods, and techniques to help and develop the skills of adolescents with ADHD through sports, especially swimming workouts, and different mindfulness practices.
<\/span>\u2013 A <\/span>Guidebook about the benefits of swimming and mindfulness for adolescents with ADHD<\/span><\/b><\/a><\/span> for instructors, coaches and young swimmers, combining scientific insights and practical coaching tools to improve focus, self-regulation, and well-being, with practical guidelines about ADHD and general sport well-being, videos, exercises and tips, etc.
<\/span>The Guidebook is tailored to be accessible also to visually impaired people and is available online in <\/span>English, Italian, Greek, Slovenian, and Romanian <\/b>or downloadable in PDF format.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
