PROJECT PARTNERS
<\/strong><\/p>

\u201cMove as you are\u201d is a 2-year Erasmus Plus project in the field of sport funded by the European Education and Culture Executive Agency. The project is coordinated by Real Eyes Sport<\/a> (Italy) and the other partners are Euphoria Net (Italy), the Adapted Physical Activity\/ Developmental And Physical Disabilities Lab of the University of Athens<\/a> (Greece), and Municipio De Vila Nova De Famalic\u00e3o<\/a> (Portugal).<\/p>

PROJECT OBJECTIVES

<\/strong>The project aims to increase social inclusion and equal opportunities in sports by supporting the participation of visually impaired children in sports activities and supporting their ability to develop motor skills and enhancing their social integration into their living communities.
At the same time, the project aims to develop ready-to-use materials and resources to help sports coaches, trainers and physical education teachers who want to involve children with visual impairments in sports activities.<\/p>

AVAILABLE RESULTS
<\/strong>
Within the project, we are going to develop:<\/p>

– The Booklet on Best Practices to Involve Children With Visual Impairments in Sports Activities<\/strong>, aiming to provide physical education teachers, coaches, and trainers with knowledge and inspiration to replicate some practices for involving visually impaired children in sports.<\/p>

– The MOOC Course to Promote Sport and Approach to Movement Among Children With Visual Impairments<\/strong>: an online course, consisting of videos, video lessons, and written parts to provide physical education teachers, coaches, and trainers with a general approach to sport and movement and explanations of specific sports strategies and techniques to be used with children with visual impairments.
All results will be available in English, Italian, Greek, and Portuguese.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
