PROJECT PARTNERS
Carbon Neutral Schools is a 30 months European project financed within the framework of the Erasmus Plus programme, coordinated by Art Smart (Latvia). The other partners are Euphoria Net (Italy), University of Graz (Austria), SCS LogoPsyCom (Belgium), SYKLI oy (Finland), Uciliste Studium (Croatia), Klaipėdos miesto pedagogų švietimo ir kultūros centras (Lithuania) and Liepajas Raina 6.vidusskola (Latvia).
PROJECT OBJECTIVES
The project aims to rise awareness on the carbon neutrality and the carbon impact of schools on the environment. Through a set of 3 results, the project wants to make school conscious about their carbon footprint and enable them to act by building their own low-carbon education programs.
AVAILABLE RESULTS
The project foresees the creation of 3 main Results:
1) “Nature of Willingness to Reduce Carbon Footprint” Report: This report comprises factor maps detailing strategies for reducing carbon footprint within educational institutions. It identifies key variables essential for lowering carbon emissions in such settings.
2) “Organization’s Low Carbon Expert” Online Interactive E-Learning Course: It is an online course designed for schools and educators, higher education institutions (HEIs), vocational schools, and other interested educational organizations across Europe. Its aim is to equip the latter with the knowledge and skills necessary to decrease carbon emissions within their institutions.
3) Green Ambassadors Toolkit: This toolkit aims at facilitating the identification of potential Green Ambassadors among individuals, teams, and organizations, spanning from schools, universities, and vocational education and training (VET) institutions to various other organizations and corporations.
All the results will be available on the website https://www.carbon-neutral-schools.eu/ in 9 languages (IT,EN,FR,LT,LV,FI,DE).
