Project sheet

In-DigiT is an Erasmus+ project in the field of adult education focused on making digital training more accessible, more sustainable, and more inclusive. The In-DigiT Erasmus+ partnership was coordinated by My Training Box (France), and the other partners were Euphoria Net (Italy), Formethic (France), Epimorfotiki Kilkis sm LLC (Greece), BRGD SCS (Belgium), and Coaching Bulgaria Association (Bulgaria).

WHY THIS PROJECT MATTERS

Digital training is growing fast. However, many training centres still face barriers to digitalisation — whether technical, financial, or related to skills. At the same time, digital tools have a significant environmental footprint that is rarely addressed in education settings. In-DigiT tackled both challenges together: making digital training accessible to all, while guiding trainers and organisations toward greener, more responsible digital practices.

WHAT THE PROJECT AIMED TO DO

The In-DigiT Erasmus+ project aimed to remove barriers to the digitalisation of training courses, limit the environmental impact of digital tools, and accelerate the development of training centres by building the skills of trainers and staff. In addition, it promoted frugal and sustainable approaches to digital education — reducing environmental impact without reducing quality.

WHAT WE DEVELOPED:

– The Booklet of 50 EU Sustainable IT Best Practices for Education & Training, aiming to provide teachers, pedagogical engineers, ITC managers and training centers, with strategies, examples and tools to reduce the environmental impact of digital and guide people towards the use of “greener” digital tools.

– The Self-assessment tool to raise awareness and provide trainers, pedagogical engineers and IT managers with diagnostics of individual practices and measure their performance and progress, giving them ideas and suggestions on how to improve behavior and practices.

– The Training Toolkit: a digital training course about digital responsibility with 10 modules including videos, podcasts, and two online games to motivate and raise awareness among the trainers’ community.

Furthermore, all results are available in English, Italian, French, Greek, and Bulgarian.
